The Adventure…
Discover how Victorians made their way around town and watch blacksmithing demonstrations when you visit the Carriage House and Blacksmith Shop at the Evelyn True Button House. The authentic carriage house features wonderful displays, including an authentic era fire engine, horse-drawn hearse, hand crafted antique tools, and even an antique cupboard that was once used as a hiding place on the Underground Railroad. The blacksmith shop is an authentic 19th Century shop moved from near by Malta. Blacksmithing demonstrations are scheduled from time to time.
The carriage house and blacksmith shop are included with your admission to the Evelyn True Button House. Open to the public Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday - 1 to 3 p.m.
General Admission to the Evelyn True Button House, Carriage House, and Blacksmith Shop: $3.00 donation for adults, Youth (18 and younger) free.

The Carriage House and Blacksmith Shop are located behind the Evelyn True Button House in downtown McConnelsville along East Main Street. Follow State Route 78 through McConnelsville and turn onto East Main Street / State Route 60 / State Route 376.
