The Adventure…
Built in 1867, the home formerly owned by Lillian Jones. The Jones family was active in the early business and social past of Jackson County. Today, the home has been preserved as museum. The museum encourages and safeguards the history of Jackson County. In addition to preserving the history of the area, the museum strives to implement new programs, exhibits, and events of interest for the education and enjoyment of the community. Changing exhibits and a fine collection of antique furnishings, glassware, ceramics, vintage clothing, collectibles, and other treasures characterize the home. Also available on the museum grounds is a gift shop. There is a nice selection of books, paper dolls, cards, cookbooks, etc. In addition to paper goods, the gift shop also carries exclusive Lillian E. Jones Museum collectable Christmas ornaments, King’s Crown Glassware, and Beaumont Pottery ceramics. New items are being added all the time.

Getting there’s Half the Adventure…
The Lillian E. Jones Museum is located in downtown Jackson along Broadway Street. Take US Route 35 to Jackson and turn off on Broadway Street. Follow Broadway Street for about six blocks. The museum is near the intersection of Broadway and Sycamore.
