Pike Heritage Museum

The Adventure…
As you enter the museum, you will embark upon a journey through time. The story unfolds as you walk around and observe the displays. The Native American display honors the brave men and women who traveled some 12,000 years ago across land bridges between Siberia and Alaska. Some time between 11,000 B.C. and 10,000 B.C. the pre-historic people migrated into Southern Ohio. The Museum also highlights the early white settlers of the county. The Museum celebrates the early forms of transportation with exhibits of tricycles, bicycles, a "surrey with the fringe on top" and displays about the Ohio Canal systems and railroads. Special tours can be arranged.
Open Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 pm- 4:00 pm and special occasions. Call for summer hours.
